Finally “Just Believe” is finished, and was already sent to 272 Records!!
David Jerónimo made everything and a bit more, and his great work came along

for guitar rhythm and Paulo Silva for bass guitar!!!

02-05-2010 – “Just Believe” is going to Hollywood!!
A recent event that put us all
running against time: Love After is invited to feature with the song “Just
Believe” in the metal compilation “Kill City Vol.24 by the label 272
Records, Hollywood, CA!
All musicians are in a hurry
right now in order to finish it on time. The track will be recorded and
produced in Malware Studios by David Jerónimo.
07-04-2010 – Instrumental parts for "Acta Deorum"
Recorded!!
All guitars, Bass and Keyboards for the mini-cd "Acta Deorum" are recorded.
Work was done in Ace´s own "Light Magic Studios" and it promises the most
heavy, fast and powerful sound that Love After has ever recorded.
Roxy is fine tuning her voice for the next recording sessions, she has a
long and hard work on the way, but will worth the waiting.
After voice recording is complete, everything will run into David
Jerónimo, to work his magic on the drum parts.

15-02-2010 – Guests on songs for "Acta Deorum"
"IJX" known for his work on TearSunCried,
is recording with Love After the male voice for "Just Believe", one of the
songs featuring on "Acta Deorum", in Roxy´s studio. Recordings are in
progress and it was quite a surprise to hear the finished mix.

(Concealment, FF, Splash, Time Line...), will grace us with his unique talented
gifts on the drums very soon - "Just Believe" and "Broken Wings" are the

05-02-2010 – Mini-Cd "Acta Deorum" on recording
progress.
"Acta Deorum" is the name of the mini-Cd anticipating
the writings for "Magna Mater". It´s louder and heavier, and a very nice
taste of what's coming into the "Magna Mater" era.
It totals 7 songs, including 3 covers:

good musicians from past years in the Portuguese music grows wide, as memory

The Planets, Op. 32 Jupiter- Original fromGustav Holst,
Jupiter is one of
the best melodic classical pieces in this entire symphony, Love After has
kept the basics, just added some electric guitars to keep it updated.

birthday party!!
Members of the band, along with guests and friends,
have commemorated 2 years of Love After in Ace´s own birthday surprise
party. A break from rehearsals has led to this, thanks guys!

version of "Vita Dominae" delayed
A faulty backup in Ace´s Light Magic
studios had condemned the English version of "Vita Dominae" to oblivion.
This
will make us re-record all the electric guitars and some voices, previously
recorded during Portuguese versions, as you can check in the web site player. A step backwards in a time of lots of work
in the band, since we have a mini-cd targeted to launch early this year.
We´ll have free copies to all who bought us the Portuguese version and left
their contact for an English copy. Thank you.
There will not be audition hearings until January 2010.

15-09-2009 - "Vita Dominae" – Album recording
finished
As previously announced, our first album is
finally ready - "Vita Dominae".
It is by far the more complete and
professional work the band has done so far, even with the previous work in demos.
Excellent songs with melodies perfectly interconnected, built on a very
melodic line, without losing the spirit Heavy / Power / Rock featuring on Love
After. Powerful sound and lyrics make this album sounding an "added value" to
the music practiced in our country and also for any fan of Rock / Metal worlwide.
Also available in Portuguese.

Some announcements and updates: the single "A Moment In
Time" is released and will be available here for download very soon, check
it out on MySpace, it's already playing there!!
The band, music and lyrics pages are all updated,
including details for the upcoming album "Vita Dominae". I’ll be updating as
time between recording, mixing and mastering become more available.

It's with a lot of pleasure that I announce the start
of the recording of our first album - "Vita Dominae".
Drum tracks are ready, we will start the guitars and
bass recordings right after drum tracks mix finish. Stay tuned, we'll be
updating very soon!!
19-06-2009 – Line-Up almost completed
Since the beginning of this project, a year ago, I was searching for
musicians to fill a line up perfectly tuned with the type of music, ready to
record a demo and, eventually, live performances. With auditions to bass
players and keyboardists, the last faulty places, I hoped to end up the "core" of Love After´s musicians.
We
met quite some people while we were auditioning, we left behind some band mates
who did not make it all the way, we found a studio for the rehearsals (and lost
all of our free Sundays), there were lots of frustrations, but lots of joy too,
and you can not trade that for anything in this world.

Looking back, I do not
regret anything that was necessary made to reach here. This is the end of an era, to reach here we have past through several
things, both good and bad, as it happens with anything made from scratch.
